CHANDIKA
HOMA
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17TH
Join us this Saturday for a rare and powerful fire ceremony to the Divine Goddess Chandika!
Chandika Homa is one of the most powerful Vedic fire rituals dedicated to Goddess Chandi (Durga)—the fierce, warrior expression of the Divine Mother.
In this ceremony, sacred offerings are placed into a consecrated fire while precise mantras are recited, invoking Agni, the Vedic fire deity, to carry those offerings to the Goddess. Through this ancient process, Divine Mother energy is called in for protection, purification, and the removal of deep-rooted obstacles.
This homa is traditionally performed when sincere effort alone has not been enough—when challenges persist despite intelligence, hard work, and dedication, and Divine intervention is required.
Date: Saturday, January 17th
Time: 8:30 - 11:30
Location: Remote Participation via Zoom)
Energy Exchange: $54 donation
The Power of the Durga Saptashati
At the heart of Chandika Homa is the complete recitation of the 700 verses of the Durga Saptashati, one of the most revered texts in the Shakta tradition. These verses describe the Divine Mother’s victories over forces that threaten harmony, life, and dharma.
The Saptashati is not symbolic poetry—it is considered a living vibrational transmission, invoking specific aspects of the Goddess to dissolve negativity, restore balance, and reestablish spiritual strength.
The Chandika Homa will be performed at Kali Math Temple, a rare Shakti power center in the Himalayas where the Divine Mother is worshipped in her most primal form.
Here, Kali is not approached as an image, but as a living yantra—a sacred geometry anchoring her presence on Earth. According to tradition, this is the place where the Goddess descended after defeating Mahishasura, and where her power was sealed into the land itself.
The priests who serve this temple are born into the lineage. Their ancestry stretches back through countless generations to ancient times, and they are trained from childhood in the precise and demanding rituals of Kali puja. This is not a learned role—it is a life given in service to the Mother.

When Many Souls Gather
This Chandika Homa is being sponsored by a single participant as a sacred offering. However, Sri Kaleshwar taught that all ceremonies become exponentially more powerful for everyone present as more souls consciously participate. For this reason, we are opening this homa to our entire community—to amplify its reach, its grace, and to allow all who participate to receive the blessings and transformative energy radiated by Divine Mother's presence in her most powerful form.
